Sansom Commons
A new 300,000-square foot retail and hotel complex located on a full city block from 36th to 37th Streets, between Walnut and Chestnut streets. Retailers include Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Cosi, Urban Outfitters, Eastern Mountain Sports, Cereality cereal bar, European cosmetics retailer Parfumeries Douglas, and Stephen Starr’s Pod.
The Inn at Penn
A new 260-room first-class Hilton hotel at Sansom Commons. Amenities include Penne Restaurant and Wine Bar and 18,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
Hamilton Square & 40th Street Corridor
Penn’s deluxe retail and entertainment complex at 40th and Walnut Streets. Concierge service awaits patrons at the door of this state-of-the-art, six-screen theatre and six-screen visual multi-media art gallery. Amenities include the 12 Lounge, a full-menu restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating, a coffee bar, and wireless Internet access. Adjoining the complex is Marathon Grill and its upstairs bar and dance-floor, MarBar. Hamilton Square also recently completed a new 35,000 square foot fresh food market, Fresh Grocer, with prepared foods and regular grocery fare. Above the market is an 800-car parking garage. World Café Live!
A brand new, 40,000 square foot eclectic music venue and restaurant, World Café Live! is the companion live show space to radio station WXPN’s new studios at 30th and Walnut Streets. The popular nightspot can handle up to 300 seated guests and is available for parties, special events and meetings.
